The new Kia Stinger of 2021 will have more powerful engines
The update to the Kia Stinger of 2021 will arrive soon and, according to the published leak, the engines will be the main protagonists in the evolution of the model

The brand-new, underrated saloon from Kia is in the final stage of development of its next evolution as the Kia Stinger 2021. In recent months, different units wearing the usual camouflage typical of test cars have been spotted in traffic at various locations around the world.
Rumours point to a technological renewal focused on the mechanicals rather than on its infotainment, entertainment and connectivity systems, which have been so fashionable lately.
Either way, specifications for the 2021 Kia Stinger with a 2.5 engine, replacing the 2.0, and an update to the powerful 3.3-litre V6 have been leaked from South Korea.
Thus, the source, Korean Car Blog, which claims to have obtained the specifications from the homologation documents of the South Korean Ministry of Environment, indicates that the 2.0 petrol unit will be replaced by a new 2.5-litre engine and that it will remain exclusively rear-wheel drive.

The engine block is shared by various models of the Hyundai Group, such as the Hyundai Sonata N Line, the Genesis G80 and GV80, or the upcoming Kia K5 GT, the Optima in Europe, which doesn’t seem likely to be sold on the old continent.
Either way, the 2021 Kia Stinger with the 2.5 T-GDi engine would produce 304 CV and 421 Nm of torque, an increase of almost 50 CV and around 70 Nm of pulling power.
An even more powerful new Kia Stinger GT
But if we’re talking about sports saloons that deserve to be considered and respected, the update to the new Kia Stinger GT will maintain its interior quality and enhance its response thanks to the revised and uprated 3.3-litre V6 T-GDi engine.

In fact, of the 366 horses that send power to all four wheels through an all-wheel-drive system, the car still on sale, the new one will have 378 CV and a torque figure that hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the current one is rated at 510 Nm and will undoubtedly stay the same or increase.
In any case, we expect the restyling of this brand-new vehicle to be presented before the end of the year and for all the doubts surrounding it to be cleared up.
