Toyota Land Cruiser 2021: more powerful, safer and more connected
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 2021, which gains 27 CV of power and adds more safety and comfort equipment, is now on sale.

While we wait for the new generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser, which will even offer a hybrid powertrain, the Japanese brand is updating the current model with significant aesthetic and technical changes.
The main one is under the bonnet: the 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine gains 27 CV, reaching 204 CV. It also adds a start-stop system, which improves the homologated fuel consumption and emissions. It is still offered in combination with a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The prices of the new Toyota Land Cruiser 2021, already including the 3,000 euro promotional discount offered by Toyota, are as follows:
- Land Cruiser 2.8D GX 3/5-door: 40,000 / 43,100 euros
- Land Cruiser 2.8D VX 3/5-door: 44,500 / 48,500 euros
- Land Cruiser 2.8D VX Auto 3/5-door: 47,400 / 51,500 euros
- Land Cruiser 2.8D VXL Auto 3/5-door: 55,800 / 61,500 euros
- Land Cruiser 2.8D Limited 5-door: 73,600 euros
In addition to the GX, VX, VXL and Limited versions, there is an NX variant, approved as an N1 category vehicle, meaning it is classified as a van.
Land Cruiser 2021: still a true 4×4, now safer
Without losing the qualities that make the Land Cruiser a true 4×4 when leaving the asphalt, Toyota has focused on safety and connectivity in this new edition.

As a result, the Land Cruiser range receives the Toyota Safety Sense 2 package, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, road sign recognition, rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring.
Another interesting addition is the ability to integrate mobile devices on the 8-inch multimedia system screen through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
