The new Land Rover Defender 90 arrives on the market
The new Land Rover Defender 90 will have a starting price of 54,980 euros in Spain, while the Land Rover Defender 110 starts at 61,480 euros.

The new Land Rover Defender 90 opens its order book and, as the brand itself says, “the short wheelbase and short overhangs offer exceptional off-road geometry, making the new Defender 90 the highest-capacity Land Rover to date”.
After a few years off the market, the Land Rover Defender returns stronger than ever following the 110 version, and the Defender 90 can now be reserved. The manufacturer has noted that “the new Defender is the most demanding and capable Land Rover ever created, and it offers 21st-century connectivity with unbeatable off-road performance”.

It is important to note that customers who have reserved a Land Rover Defender 110 will be able to get behind the wheel from spring 2020, while the new 90 version will reach the roads after the summer.
The new Land Rover Defender was unveiled to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, 2019, and, as the company states, customers have “an unprecedented interest in the new model”. In addition, “more than 1.2 million customers have configured their vehicle on the Land Rover website, and more than half of them have selected one of the four accessory packs”.

Land Rover Defender 90, the new travel companion can now be reserved
The Land Rover Defender 90 can be chosen with different packs called Explorer, Adventure, Country and Urban. Notably, the Urban finish equips the SUV with a front bumper guard, gloss-finish sill protectors, gloss-finish metal pedals and a cover for the spare wheel.
The brand has noted that this finish has been the most requested by customers for the design of the Land Rover Defender 110, followed by Explorer. Interested buyers can already place their reservation on the brand’s website.

Finbar McFall, Global Product Marketing Director at Land Rover, has stated that “we have experienced unprecedented interest in the new Defender 110, and we are confident that the official launch of the Defender 90 will also generate great interest. We expect the new additions to our range, with different commercial versions and an efficient plug-in hybrid engine, arriving later this year, to maintain this same trend. Going by our experience with the Defender 110, we can expect more than half of customers to select one of the four accessory packs, so the new Defender will be the most customisable Land Rover with the greatest number of accessories to date”.
The starting price of the new Land Rover Defender 90 begins at 54,980 euros, while its big brother, the Land Rover Defender 110, starts at 61,480 euros in our country.
What’s new in the Land Rover Defender?
The new SUV features the brand’s infotainment system called Pivi. This system “has an intuitive interface and its own backup battery to ensure an always-connected response”. Furthermore, at the end of this same year, 2020, drivers will be able to access a plug-in hybrid version, the PHEV.

It is worth noting that the new Defender is the Land Rover with the most performance and connectivity to date, as the brand points out. The Land Rover Defender was born in 1948 under the name Series I.
