GranCabrio Maserati Convertibles
The new Maserati GranCabrio is seen in its first images still wearing camouflage
The convertible version of the GranTurismo is getting closer to its official presentation, appearing in its first images already on the road

Following the presentation of the new Maserati GranTurismo alongside its fully electric Folgore version just a few weeks ago, the trident brand now returns with the first official images of its Maserati GranCabrio, which hits the streets of Modena for the first phases of its development tests.
With its launch date yet to be announced, the new Maserati GranCabrio seen in the photographs still wears camouflage in pure Maserati style, in black, blue and white with the trident in multiple positions. Nevertheless, despite the camouflage, the shapes of this attractive convertible can be made out.
Focusing on its design, the new GranCabrio will bear a great resemblance to the new GranTurismo, with a long bonnet, a stylised roofline with a very raked A-pillar and a clean-shaped boot lid.

Keeping its essence
Viewed from the rear, the new model features the same LED rear lights, a sporty bumper with an aggressive diffuser and four exhaust outlets responsible for emitting the wonderful roar of its twin-turbo V6 engine.
The brand has chosen to opt for a multi-layer fabric soft top, as we are already accustomed to seeing on other models such as the Jaguar F-Type or the BMW 4 Series, among others. This roof, besides giving it a very classic and attractive design, eliminates noise, weight and complicated electrical connections, offering great acoustic comfort.

As for the cabin, everything suggests there will be no major novelties compared with the coupé version, which we should point out has not yet been fully unveiled.
As for the heart under the bonnet of this model, we can surely expect the twin-turbo V6 with 490 CV and 550 CV, or later on, even the electric system of the Folgore, which develops 761 CV combined with an 83 kWh battery.
As the brand has announced, the new Maserati GranCabrio will make its official presentation during the second half of 2023, joining the Maserati MC20 Cielo, its other convertible sibling.
