The new member of the Nissan Z Series will be unveiled later this very month
The Japanese manufacturer announces that, in mid-month, it will present the Nissan Z Proto, the concept car that previews the new member of the Z Series family
The success achieved by the Nissan 350Z and by its predecessor, the Nissan 370Z, has left fans of the vehicles bearing the last letter of the alphabet built by the Japanese brand eager for good news about the next member of an already established lineage among the modern classics launched by the genius of Yoshihiko Matsuo, the Nissan Z Series.
With a philosophy in which driving enjoyment comes first, but the glove worn by the driver must be distinctive as well as attractive, the announcement that on September 15 Nissan will present the prototype of a new Z only makes our mouths water.
Even so, in a brief statement, the manufacturer says it is ready to unveil the Nissan Z Proto, and that this will be done through the platform TheNissanNext.com, the same one used by the Nissan Ariya.
The image provided suggests we will see the main lines of a vehicle that will reach production in at least two years, in line with the forecast for the arrival in 2022 of the Nissan 400Z, the hypothetical name given to the third most modern Nissan Z, whose internal code is Z35.
In fact, a video showing the family of sports cars that has given so many great moments suggests that this Nissan Z Proto will follow the main lines of earlier generations.

In any case, speculation is open. The only thing that seems certain is that, as the brand’s executives have stated, the Nissan Z35 will be, at least initially, a car that does not rely on electric propulsion, that is, a 100 percent petrol car. We will see what the mid-month presentation of the new Nissan Z Proto brings and what the manufacturer reveals about a project that seems to be shrouded in near-absolute secrecy.
