The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is now available in Spain for ordering, and we know its price
Following its unveiling, the new A-Class is ready to go on sale. Mercedes is already accepting orders in Spain, with a price starting from 31,400 euros

It was in February when the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class revealed its new look, somewhat continuous with the previous one, but visibly refreshed in line with the brand’s most recent presentations, while still keeping the clear youthful and sporty design that characterises the A-Class. Now, following its presentation, its arrival at dealerships is imminent, and Mercedes is already accepting orders for the new A-Class.

The philosophy behind the new A-Class is what Mercedes has called “modern luxury”, with a youthful and dynamic exterior design, but a more mature and comfortable model, which has been thoroughly renewed both outside and inside. Proof of this is the wide range of technological equipment we will find, such as the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience or MBUX, which until now was found in higher-end Mercedes models, and which will offer a multitude of options for the driver and passengers.
But these will not be the only technological novelties in the refreshed Mercedes-Benz A-Class, as we will also find the possibility of semi-autonomous driving, which will be possible in certain situations; or, for example, the new MULTIBEAM LED headlights. Naturally, this is not all, and for the Spanish market there is a wide range of equipment, with elements such as:
- Reversing camera
- MBUX Multimedia System
- Communication module for Mercedes me connectivity services
- Progressive trim line
- 17-inch alloy wheels
- Multifunction sports steering wheel in leather
- THERMOTRONIC climate control
- High Performance LED headlights
In terms of mechanics, there will not be many options available, at least from the moment of launch; only two options will be available to choose from: a petrol engine and a diesel. The petrol option is represented by the A 200, a 1,332 cc engine with a power output of 163 CV and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, combined with the 7G-DCT automatic gearbox (from July it will also be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox); while the diesel option is the A 180 d, a 1,461 cc engine with a power output of 116 CV and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, also combined with the 7G-DCT automatic gearbox.
The prices for both engine and gearbox combinations on the Spanish market are as follows:
| Engine | Gearbox | Price |
|---|---|---|
| A 200 | Manual | 31,400 euros |
| A 200 | 7G-DCT | 33,650 euros |
| A 118 d | 7G-DCT | 32,700 euros |
