The new Mitsubishi Montero 2015 arrives on the Spanish market

Mitsubishi has announced the trim levels and prices of the new 2015 range of the Montero for Spain. The off-roader has just received its third update in this generation, affecting not only the equipment but also certain styling features on both the three-door and five-door versions.
The differences with respect to the previous Montero are noticeable at the front, which features a larger chrome grille and a redesigned bumper that includes LED strips with daytime running function on the Kaiteki trim. This level of equipment is also distinguished by the slightly modified rear tailgate featured on the five-door bodywork.

Inside the cabin, the most significant change is the new trim that combines piano black tones with aluminium inserts. Equipment novelties include the introduction of a tyre pressure monitoring system, an indicator for the optimal moment to change gear, and a new folding key.
The base trim, called Spirit, comes as standard with a USB port, while the top one, now called Kaiteki and available only with automatic transmission, adds daytime LED lights, a navigation system with a 7″ touchscreen, a premium sound system, an electric sunroof, leather upholstery, automatic activation of high beams and improved cabin soundproofing.
The Montero 2015 range has been simplified and now consists of four options, priced as follows:
- Montero 3-door 3.2 DI-D Spirit = 37,900 euros
- Montero 3-door 3.2 DI-D Auto Kaiteki = 45,500 euros
- Montero 5-door 3.2 DI-D Spirit = 40,900 euros
- Montero 5-door 3.2 DI-D Auto Kaiteki = 48,500 euros
Mitsubishi has confirmed that interested buyers will be able to benefit from a 4,000-euro discount during the initial sales period. Therefore, the new Montero 2015 will start from 33,900 euros in its most affordable version.
