The new Peugeot 508 is now available in Spain

The new generation of the Peugeot 508 has arrived to break the mould, and the good news is that it is now available in Spain. As the brand of the lion itself has stated, the saloon is defined by its “dynamism, driving pleasure and efficiency”. It reaches our market in estate and fastback bodywork and with up to three trim levels called Allure, GT and Sport Engineered.

Among the novelties of this generation stand out its striking styling, its technological arsenal, its sporty lines and the use of new materials and colours. The front features the new logo of the French brand, which blends in among the elements all the way to the bumper. In the high-performance version, by contrast, the grille turns into textured gloss black in which the three claws in Kriptonita colour stand out.

Among the equipment of the new generation of the French saloon we find the Matrix LED lighting system, in which the three claws of the lion can be distinguished in slim optical units of exclusive design. This motif is also present in the rear LED lights, which incorporate dynamic indicators. And we must not forget the Epherra 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels, which put the emphasis on design and efficiency thanks to their diamond pattern and five spokes. The colour palette has been renewed with Okenite White, Eclipse Blue and Titanium Grey.

Once we step inside the saloon, we can enjoy, as the manufacturer points out, the “driving pleasure that has underpinned the lion’s success for decades. With a low driving position, which distinguishes the most sporting cars, and the immersive qualities of a redesigned Peugeot i‑Cockpit, every journey becomes an experience full of sensations, with the safety provided by a complete range of driver assistance functions”.

It is important to mention that the mechanical range is made up of plug-in hybrid units with the DGT Zero environmental label. However, the new Peugeot 508 is available with a 180 CV Plug-In Hybrid engine, a 225 CV Plug-In Hybrid and the Plug-In Hybrid 360 with all-wheel drive, which has been developed specifically for the Peugeot Sport Engineered version.
