The new Peugeot RCZ will arrive in Spain during the month of January

From the first days of January, the new PeugeotPeugeot RCZ will be present in several European markets, among which, happily, is the Spanish market. The renewed version comes with some changes that are more noticeable in the new front end that the roadster will feature.

The grille is smaller, less exaggerated and more streamlined, and is clearly divided into two sections, incorporating small LED daytime running lights in place of the fog lights. Despite the changes in the new model, the shape of the headlights is not very different from that of the current model.

Continuing with the exterior changes, the “bulges” remain in place, to give the RCZ’s design greater aerodynamic efficiency. In the interior, the aim has been to increase perceived quality, as seen in the gear lever knob in gloss black or the leather inserts on the door panels and aluminium on the dashboard.

For the time being, the engines offered on the RCZ will be the sole 2.0-litre HDi FAP diesel with 163 hp and two petrol options, the 156 and 200 hp THP units. Interestingly, the engine range will be expanded in 2013 with a new sibling joining the family: an RCZ-R with a 260 hp engine.

Peugeot Spain has begun rolling out the new model, adding some videos to its official YouTube channel. We leave you one of those videos at the bottom of this post, so you can get an idea of what the future update of the RCZ will be.
