The new Porsche 911 GTS increases its power and aerodynamics

The new 911 Carrera GTS range introduces mechanical, design and aerodynamic modifications. The turbocharged 3.0-litre boxer engine increases its power to 450 CV, an increase of 20 CV over the naturally aspirated engine it replaces. The power gap with the 911 Carrera S is now 30 CV. The new 911 GTS has a torque of 550 Nm between 2,150 and 5,000 rpm.
All versions are available with a seven-speed manual gearbox or, as an option, the PDK automatic gearbox, which we recommend without hesitation for its excellent behaviour. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system comes as standard on all GTS models, although the coupé versions introduce the PASM Sport chassis, which lowers the vehicle by 100 millimetres.
The 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé is the fastest version in the GTS range, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in
just 3.6 seconds. All versions exceed a top speed of 300 km/h, reaching as much as 312 km/h in the case of the coupé with manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive (911 Carrera GTS).
The new GTS receives minor design changes, such as a new front bumper that emphasises the car’s sporty character. The line of this model has also been optimised with the aim of achieving greater aerodynamics, thanks to elements such as a taller rear spoiler.
To coincide with the launch of the GTS range, Porsche has launched a on-track data measurement app (Porsche Track Precision) which includes automatic recording, detailed on-screen analysis and driving analysis on the smartphone, so that we feel like authentic drivers with access to telemetry.
The five models of the Porsche 911 GTS are already open for orders, and these are their prices in Germany:
911 Carrera GTS: 124,451 euros
