On 9 September, the World Electric Vehicle Day marks an emblematic date for the Renault Group, a company with more than a decade of experience in electric technology that has managed to consolidate its position in the field of sustainable mobility thanks to the development of its hybrid and electric engines. With a wide range of electric vehicles, Renault has known how to adapt to market demands and to the regulations that in Europe foresee the end of combustion engines by 2035. The company is ready to lead this transition with affordable and technologically advanced solutions.

The group is taking advantage of this scenario to present its latest models at the Madrid Electric Vehicle Fair (VEM 2024), a key event for the sector in Spain. Renault will unveil three new 100% electric vehicles, reaffirming its commitment to electrification, sustainability and the democratisation of electric mobility.

The novelties that Renault will bring to VEM 2024

Renault 5 E-Tech 100% Electric

The iconic Renault 5 returns in a fully electric version, becoming an accessible option within the electric vehicle market. Priced below 25,000 euros, this model aims to democratise electric mobility. Orders can already be placed for versions equipped with a 52 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 410 kilometres according to the WLTP cycle. By 2025, all versions of this renewed classic are expected to be available.

New Dacia Spring

Dacia, the most affordable brand of the Renault Group, is also embracing electrification with its Spring model, which costs from 55 euros a month under the MOVES III Plan. This small electric car comes with an updated design and improved equipment, making it one of the most competitive options in terms of value for money on the market.

Alpine A290

The Group’s sporty brand, Alpine, also joins electric mobility with the Alpine A290, a compact sports car that combines avant-garde design with cutting-edge technology. This model, which will go on sale from 38,700 euros in its GT version, has already opened orders in Spain and promises to become a benchmark for enthusiasts of electric motoring.

Mobilize ecosystem

Renault does not focus solely on cars; it has also developed a complete mobility ecosystem through its Mobilize brand, aimed at offering energy and transport solutions for businesses, mobility operators and private users. At VEM 2024, Mobilize will present its innovative proposals, including the DUO and BENTO vehicles, whose official unveiling will take place at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Mobilize Duo

Visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to test-drive the DUO and take part in a draw to attend its presentation in Paris. In addition, Mobilize will offer shared mobility services such as Zity by Mobilize, Mobilize Share and Bipi, which allow users to access electric vehicles without having to buy them, responding to a growing demand for flexible and sustainable mobility solutions.
