The new Renault Kadjar will have a new special edition called Black Edition
Having barely arrived in the Renault range, the update applied to the Kadjar now brings its first limited edition, called Black Edition

A few months ago, Renault announced the update the Kadjar, the crossover born from the partnership the French brand maintains with Nissan, which has been used to develop this model based on the Qashqai. This restyle of the Kadjar placed greater emphasis on design and interior quality, along with a broad update of its engines, leaving exterior changes in second place.
The Renault Kadjar is an important model for the French, having sold more than 450,000 units since 2015, the year it went on sale. To remain a benchmark vehicle, the brand has decided that this restyle alone is not enough, and it also needs to support it with a new special edition, which will allow its future owners to benefit from more equipment at a better price.

The arrival of this special edition, called Black Edition, will also bring a change to the Kadjar range, since it replaces the S-Design trim, which now disappears from the range, and sits above the Zen trim. Aesthetically, there are no major changes on the Kadjar Black Edition, except that its 19-inch wheels get a gloss black finish, the same colour found on the wing mirror housings.
Without many aesthetic changes, the new Renault Kadjar Black Edition focuses, as I was saying, on offering more complete equipment, featuring elements that are certainly very interesting, backed by excellent value for money:
- Premium Bose sound system.
- Lane departure warning
- Overspeed warning
- Heated front seats with electric adjustment and ventilation function
- Chrome roof rails
- Adaptive LED headlights
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Tinted rear windows
- Front centre armrest
- Blind spot detection
- Rain sensor and automatic light switch-on
- LED fog lights
- LED daytime running lights
- Assisted emergency braking
- Cruise control and speed limiter
- Electrically adjustable and foldable exterior mirrors
- Interior rear-view mirror with anti-dazzle function
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Rear-view camera
- Tyre pressure sensor
- R-Link 2 navigation system with European maps
- Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- Hands-free card
- Fixed panoramic roof
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel

Mechanically, Renault has decided to equip the Kadjar Black Edition with the 1,300 cc TCe engine, which delivers 160 CV and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. It can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or the EDC automatic dual-clutch gearbox with seven ratios. Regardless of the gearbox chosen, power is always sent to the front wheels.
In Spain, the Renault Kadjar Black Edition with the manual gearbox will cost 27,870 euros, while choosing the automatic gearbox takes the price to 29,250 euros.
