Corolla Cross Toyota Hybrid Cars SUV
The new Toyota Corolla Cross 2026 brings a slight but striking facelift and adds the GR version.
The Toyota Corolla Cross is updated for 2025 and will soon arrive at the brand’s dealerships with aesthetic and technical updates to the model.

The Toyota Corolla Cross is being prepared for the 2026 model year with an update that brings several new features, changing its look and giving it a more appealing personality for buyers. Toyota has introduced several new additions to the model and has added the GR Sport sporty version. That said, it is not a Gazoo version of the model; instead, several sporty elements have been added to enhance its sporty spirit.
Changes have been made across the entire range to improve its look. For example, the front grille has been replaced with one featuring a honeycomb design. The headlights have also been changed, giving the model a more dynamic appearance. On the High-End variant, an LED light bar has been added to create a distinctive light signature.

At the rear, slight changes have also been introduced, such as the addition of small fins on the rear lights. These fins improve aerodynamic performance and stability. The wheels have also been redesigned and now measure 18 inches.
More technological interior
In the cabin, a larger centre console has been fitted, along with a new gear lever. A wireless charger for smartphones has also been included; the multimedia screen measures 10.5 inches and the instrument display measures 12.3 inches. With all this, the brand claims a more comfortable drive.
We will be able to enjoy two hybrid variants of this model. The first uses a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor. Both deliver 138 CV. The second option raises power thanks to a 2.0-litre engine and a combined output of 194 CV.
The GR version
The GR version brings no changes to the engine, but it features a design in keeping with its sporty spirit. The front bumper has been modified, as has the grille, which, although it keeps its original look, is more attractive. The wheels measure 19 inches. The bodywork is painted in a striking Storm Grey colour.
The engine is the same, but several changes and adjustments have been made to improve performance. The suspension has been lowered by 10 mm and optimised for more sporty handling. The steering has also been improved, and gear shift paddles are now fitted as standard behind the steering wheel. As for driving modes, two new ones have been added: Sport Mode and Snow Extra Mode.
This update will reach Europe at the end of 2025, so it will soon be available at dealerships.
