ATS Cadillac Sedans Range / versions
The next two special editions of Cadillac will only be enjoyed in Japan
The Japanese market is set to benefit from two special editions with features that set them apart from the base models and that will only be sold in Japan

When a manufacturer like Cadillac dares to launch a special version of any of its models, we all keep a close eye out, because we are sure they will be quite attractive and surprising cars. That is what is happening with the American brand’s announcement that it will launch two of these versions in a few weeks. The problem arises when we realise they will not reach all those interested in this type of car, because only five units of each will be built and they will be aimed at the Japanese market.
The two models that will benefit from this special version are the ATS and CTS saloons. They will be called Silver Moonlight Edition and will be, as I mentioned above, five units of each. So Japanese buyers interested in driving one of these striking cars will have to hurry, because I am convinced they will sell out quickly and there will be a long waiting list.

The Silver Moonlight Edition will differ from the base model through its bodywork finished in metallic silver paint and an interior finished in black leather. The ATS saloon’s trim is brushed aluminium, while the CTS will feature carbon fibre details. A power sunroof is also included in these special editions. Honestly, this is the only thing that makes this limited edition stand out, so there is not much exclusivity in the cars that will go on sale.
The price of these special units in the Japanese market is 5,850,000 yen, which amounts to 52,500 dollars in the case of the ATS and 7,550,000 yen for the CTS, which at the current exchange rate comes to 67,750 dollars. By comparison, the new edition of the Cadillac CTS will arrive in Japan at a price of 7,450,000 yen, that is, 66,870 dollars. Admittedly, the difference between these special versions and the base models is well worth that little bit extra for a car that breaks the mould. What do you think of the special version of these two cars?
