OMODA launches in the Spanish market with its first 100% electric compact SUV, the OMODA 5 EV. This “zero emissions” version is the brand’s commitment to electrification, responding to the overwhelming success of the petrol model launched just eight months ago. Now, with a range of 430 km (WLTP) and an output of 204 CV, the OMODA 5 EV becomes an eco-friendly, sophisticated and affordable alternative for lovers of urban and sustainable SUVs.

The new electric version is already available with monthly instalments from €199 a month for those who choose to finance it through the brand. The starting price is €33,242, although customers can benefit from the €7,000 aid of the MOVES III Plan, advanced interest-free. OMODA offers a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty on all its models, with 3 years of roadside assistance and an extended 8-year warranty on the battery, providing additional peace of mind for those embarking on electric mobility.

More dynamic with the T1X Platform

The OMODA 5 EV is built on the T1X platform, a multi-energy base designed to house electric, hybrid and combustion propulsion systems. This innovative architecture promises good rigidity and suspension on both axles, prioritising safety, interior space and driving dynamics. As for the boot, the electric model surpasses the petrol version with a 380-litre capacity, which increases to 1,075 litres with the rear seats folded down, offering a versatility that meets users’ needs.

Power and aerodynamics

OMODA has redesigned the exterior of the OMODA 5 EV to reflect its electrified spirit. This compact SUV measures 4,424 mm in length and has a 2,630 mm wheelbase, maintaining an imposing and aerodynamic look. Its front features a closed grille with innovative volumes that maximise aerodynamic efficiency, achieving a drag coefficient (Cx) of just 0.281. The sharp headlights and LED details give it a unique personality and break with the uniformity that usually characterises electric vehicles.

Under the bonnet, the OMODA 5 EV has a 150 kW (204 CV) motor and 340 Nm of torque, which drives the front wheels and enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. Equipped with a 61.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, the SUV offers great efficiency with an average consumption of 15.5 kWh/100 km and a range of up to 430 km, ideal for urban journeys and long trips.

Spacious interior full of technology

The OMODA 5 EV continues to impress inside, with an elegant and ergonomic design. The 12.3-inch dual HD screen dominates the dashboard, offering an advanced infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The floating centre console, equipped with 50W wireless charging and USB connectors, showcases the comfort and functionality this model offers. In addition, the cabin features high-quality finishes, pleasant-to-the-touch materials and a welcoming design that invites comfort.

Complete equipment from the first trim level

OMODA has equipped the OMODA 5 EV with a comprehensive range of safety and comfort systems, even in its base trim, Comfort. These include adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, autonomous emergency braking and driver monitoring, as well as front, side and curtain airbags.

The Premium version raises the bar with exclusive details such as a SONY sound system with 8 speakers, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic solar roof and heated steering wheel, plus a high-definition 360º camera and a front HUD, designed to improve safety and comfort while driving.
