The OMODA 7 will debut on April 25 at the Auto China Expo
OMODA announces its second model, larger and with more technology: the OMODA 7, which will be unveiled and displayed at the Auto China Expo from April 25 to May 4

OMODA, one of the brands that has burst onto the Spanish market this year in the best possible way, has everything ready to present at the Beijing Autoshow 2024, which will take place from April 25 to May 4, the second member of its range on the market: the OMODA 7, an SUV with larger dimensions than its younger sibling, the OMODA 5, elegant, futuristic and equipped with the latest innovation.
Following the resounding success of its predecessor, presented in February, the OMODA 5, in both its petrol versions and its fully electric one, OMODA takes a new flight with the launch of the OMODA 7, of which, until its presentation, we have only been shown this small preview of its exterior.
The image shows a distinctive design, with new rear lights featuring a distinctive LED lightning-bolt design, and a rear spoiler that aims to give a sporty touch to the rear, while the front grille is similar to that of the OMODA 5.

We have no details about its interior, but there is no doubt that it will be equipped with all the necessary technological features, space and seat comfort, just like its smaller sibling. What we can confirm is that it has grown in size, both outside and inside, offering incredible space in both the front and rear seats.
Expected engines
As for engines, the OMODA 7 is expected to be equipped with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, capable of producing around 200 CV, in line with other models from the brand. In addition, for its introduction to the European market, we expect it to offer a battery-electric variant or even a plug-in hybrid option, responding to growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles in the region, especially in countries such as Spain, where vehicles with the DGT ECO label are rapidly gaining popularity.

The OMODA 5 EV, which has seen month-on-month growth of 65% in March in the markets where it is already available, is for now the brand’s biggest bet. We will see how this larger model performs.
