2008 Peugeot Range / versions SUV
The Peugeot 2008 GT Line by Carlos Sáinz is now available in Spain, and its first driver is Sáinz himself

The professional and sporting career of Carlos Sáinz is well known, and for this reason Peugeot wanted to pay tribute to the driver by creating a version of the 2008 GT that bears his name. This special edition, dedicated to Sáinz’s successes and victories, will have only 150 units for the Spanish market, with no variant for the international market. The Peugeot 2008 GT Line by Carlos Sáinz is already available in Spain for the driver’s fans and will soon be seen on the streets and roads of our country.
The personality of the French SUV has been enhanced in this new generation, to which the special model belongs, and work has been done to strengthen the image of this crossover. The design has been refined and the car has been fitted with more attractive and practical equipment to tackle off-road terrain, the natural habitat of this type of vehicle.
The suspension has been improved, raising it, and the Grip Control has been added, a system that allows the driving characteristics to be changed to cope with any type of conditions. To set this model further apart from the basic version, it features 17-inch Full Black alloy wheels and tinted rear windows, as well as a sunroof that lets more natural light into the interior.

Inside, too, the difference from other versions is clear. On the door frame there is a metal plate with the inscription Peugeot, and the aluminium pedals and floor mats with red trim give the car a more sporty look. The Head-Up Display fitted to the model is framed by red LED lights, which give it the same look as the seven-inch TFT screen. The look is also reinforced by red contrast stitching on the upholstery and other interior elements, such as the gear lever.
As for the engine, this version is paired with the 1.2-litre PureTech engine, which produces 130 CV. This power is managed by a six-speed manual gearbox. In terms of consumption, the Peugeot 2008 GT Line by Carlos Sáinz returns 4.8 litres per 100 kilometres, and emissions are 110 g/km, making it a very efficient car with power and handling well suited to today’s demands.
The price of this Carlos Sáinz special edition is 20,000 euros, including all the incentives of the Plan PIVE 8 and the financing offers from PSA Financial Services Spain, EFC, S.A.
