The Polestar 2 has arrived in Spain and is considerably cheaper than its most direct rival, the Tesla Model 3.

The Polestar 2 has arrived in Spain. After many months of waiting, the alternative and most direct rival to the Tesla Model 3 has landed in our country. The Polestar 2 is a fully electric saloon developed by Polestar, the sub-brand of Volvo. This can be seen in its design, as it shares elements with the Swedish brand.
The Polestar 2 is also cheaper than the Tesla Model 3. It has a starting price of 46,900 euros, which makes it a real alternative to Elon Musk’s affordable model. The arrival of the Polestar 2 in Spain is great news, as we have been waiting for it since its launch. If you are looking for an electric saloon, you have found it. It features all the technology and experience of Volvo, one of the safest brands on the market.
We cannot forget that the Polestar 2 is a model with a great deal of personality. Its interiors are spacious and of very high quality. Its level of equipment is outstanding, and its infotainment system stands out and, of course, its driver assistance systems.
Everything you need to know about the new Polestar 2

The Polestar 2 offers up to four options. This mirrors the range structure offered by Tesla. The entry model is the Polestar 2 Standard Range, which features an electric motor producing 231 CV, a 69 kWh battery and a range of 476 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.
The second step is the Polestar 2 Long Range, which also has the 231 CV electric drive unit but with a 75 kWh battery, allowing it to cover up to 515 kilometres on a single charge. The third position in the range is the Polestar 2 Dual Motor. It features a dual electric motor configuration producing 408 CV, a 75 kWh battery and a range of 482 kilometres. The top of the range is the Polestar 2 Performance. This version uses the previous configuration but delivers 476 CV. It also adds a specific setup to improve its performance.

This special trim includes Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, sport tyres and 20-inch wheels. As mentioned, prices start at 46,900 euros without discounts. This is considerably less than the Tesla Model 3, which starts at 51,760 euros. The rest of the Polestar range starts at 49,900 euros for the Long Range, 55,295 euros for the Dual Motor and 58,900 euros for the Performance version.
