Dacia Dokker Yevanna, the camper based on the Dacia MPV

The Dacia Dokker is no longer on sale in Spain, but that does not mean it has stopped being an option for many users. It is still around, and there is a good variety of options that still consider this model. For example, the increasingly large market of camperised vans. The Dokker has become one of the vehicles converted by the Spanish company Yevanna, which has built a very practical camper.

The conversion costs 9,750 euros, which means that this model, which new does not cost more than 12,000 euros, ends up fully equipped for less than 20,000 euros. An important point is that this price also includes the MOT inspection (ITV), which is essential for homologating all the changes made.

It is also important to know that the work is carried out both on a Dacia Dokker supplied by the customer and on one obtained directly from the company. The company offers two versions, the Dacia Dokker Essential N1 1.6 Tce 110 CV Petrol-LPG, Essential M1 Blue DCI 1.5 95 CV and Stepway Confort M1 Blue DCI 1.5 95 CV, so there is a choice for every user to find the one they need.

The Dokker has a length of 4.4 metres, so there is not much room to fit the camper equipment. Even so, Yevanna has developed a modular system that turns this vehicle into an efficient and well-equipped camper. In this case, it is an option only suitable for two people.

The changes start in the second row of seats. These remove the third seat and keep only one side seat and the centre one. The space left behind becomes a cupboard, very practical for its use as a camping vehicle. The removable kitchen has to be used from the outside, by opening the side door, but it is a small price to pay for the service it offers.

The vehicle also features a small folding table with chairs, which also fold away. At the rear, a bed for two people can be made up, so you can enjoy a comfortable night thanks to the climate control system. The acoustic and thermal insulation is very effective, so peace and quiet inside is guaranteed.

The fridge has a capacity of 32 litres, the same as the drinking water tank. The vehicle has an outdoor shower, so this amount of water can be sufficient for a day and even more if it is not used every day.

Other available features include a 100 Ah battery, with several USB sockets for charging mobile devices, a 12-volt socket for outdoor use and a solar panel delivering 110 W. Optional extras include a 16-inch television for the bedroom, an awning or laminated glass to reduce the brightness outside.

Another optional package is the off-road kit, which allows driving off paved roads and over unsurfaced terrain. It includes reinforced suspension and underbody protection.
