The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo goes camping with the brand's folding tent
The electric model from Porsche has proven capable of making an open-air camping trip with the brand’s folding tent, with a Porsche 911.

Electric cars are not usually well suited to venturing out and reaching mountainous areas. Their range makes it difficult to take them camping in open country, although the newer models with large batteries can meet this challenge. The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is ready for it and was the star of a test in which, in addition, it was fitted with the detachable Porsche Tequipment tent.
This is a fabric structure stored in a rigid case finished in black or grey, which shows its official link to the brand thanks to a matt black Porsche logo. The user can rest in great comfort thanks to a high-density polyfoam mattress. The walls, for their part, are made of breathable cotton, which helps maintain a pleasant temperature inside.

The Porsche tent is equipped with waterproof zips in case of rain and a light grey padded lining. It has one window in the roof and two on the sides. Protection against insects is also important, so it features a mesh that keeps this unpleasant presence out.

PORSCHE TAYCAN CROSS TURISMO
Two Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo units have been fitted with this pop-up tent, along with a Porsche 996 911 owned by social media star Brock Keen in the United States. The three vehicles completed a 3,000-kilometre journey, equipped with the tent, in an exercise that demonstrated the Taycan Cross Turismo is capable of this trip and that the Porsche folding tent is as practical as these adventures require.
The Porsche Tequipment folding tent can be installed on the roof of the 911, the Macan, the Cayenne, the Panamera and the Taycan, so there are plenty of options for adventure with any of these models from the German manufacturer.
