The renewed Honda CBR 600RR for 2009

The brand Honda has revealed the first photos of its new models for 2009. The first of them is the CBR 600 RR, which has received changes to the engine to achieve a greater response, thus providing stronger acceleration when exiting corners and when shifting up through the longer gears.
The work has not focused solely on the engine: the cylinder head now features a new valve actuation system for the resistance, and a completely new exhaust has been incorporated, improving performance and reducing weight thanks to its titanium construction.
The figures do not change with this model update, so it is still rated at 120 CV at 13,500 rpm and 6.7 Kgm at 11,250 rpm.
The changes have been fewer than expected, but we must keep in mind that the current version is only two years old, and complete overhauls are carried out every four years, so fans of this model will surely appreciate these changes, which give this machine more potential.
We will keep watching for news about the Honda for 2009.
