The Honda Scoopy is updated for 2009. After the 2001 update, it is now time for another change to keep up with the styling. Although this magnificent scooter is always at the forefront, we cannot forget that it is the best-selling scooter in history.

Some of the changes concern the brakes, since it now comes with a rear disc brake. Also on the handlebars we see a modification in the form of a small windscreen, which further emphasises the Scoopy styling and is also very useful for deflecting air.

As for the engines, there is not much new: it keeps the four-stroke 125cc and 150cc units. There are, however, changes to the seat, which is now lower than on the previous version. The footrests have also been improved so that it is more comfortable for both rider and passenger.

Of course, another key point has been improving safety. For this reason, the combined braking system from Honda and the ignition safety system make the Scoopy move up one more step in safety.

From February it will be available at dealerships. The drum-brake version will have a price of 3,499€, while the SH125D with the top box drum version will cost 3,589€.

Without a doubt, one of the best options if you are thinking of buying a scooter. It is the best-selling model in the entire history of this type of motorcycle and is always at the forefront of new developments, a great benchmark for all its rivals.

We will keep an eye out for Honda.
