The renewed Opel Astra is now available to order in Spain with a special launch offer

In early December, Opel announced that it would kick off the year by unveiling the restyle applied to the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer at the Brussels Motor Show, the first major event of the year for brands on European soil. Indeed, they were there, and now, a few days after their debut, Opel is starting sales of the new Astra in Europe and, of course, in Spain too, where it already has a price and a special offer for certain engine versions.

Let’s recall that, on the outside, the Opel Astra and Astra Sports Tourer now feature a narrower front end with the “Opel Vizor” design, the brand’s logo permanently illuminated and a horizontal line running from it to the headlights. Depending on the equipment, the headlights can be the new Intelli-Lux HD first seen on the Grandland. The colour palette also gains two new shades, as well as new wheel designs in 17- and 18-inch sizes.

Inside, Opel focused on making the Astra a more sustainable vehicle thanks to the use of a greater number of recycled surfaces and materials, among which the 100% recycled seat covers and the ReNewKnit upholstery of the AGR seats stand out. On the technology side, both the driver, with the digital instrument cluster, and the rest of the occupants, with the infotainment system screen, will enjoy a clearer and more intuitive interface for faster, more comfortable use.

The new Opel Astra and Astra Sports Tourer will be offered in three trim levels on the Spanish market. The entry-level trim, called Edition, includes standard equipment such as the following:

As you can see, the new Opel Astra comes very well equipped in any of its trims. And, of note, to mark its market launch, Opel will maintain a special launch offer with financing included until the 28th of the month. During that time you can get your Astra with a starting price of €23,500 for the hybrid engine and from €32,900 for the fully electric version. By the way, let’s recall that the fully electric version now features a 58 kWh battery that increases its range to 454 kilometres according to WLTP, and also comes with V2L technology.
