The Škoda Kamiq will also receive the Monte Carlo trim
Just like the Scala, the Škoda Kamiq will also receive the sporty Monte Carlo trim, which we will be able to see at its presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Last spring, at the Geneva Motor Show, Škoda unveiled a new model to further expand its SUV range: the all-new Kamiq. The model uses the Volkswagen Group’s MQB modular platform, sharing its dimensions with its SEAT cousin, the Arona, with which it therefore competes directly. The Kamiq will once again be on show at a motor show, this time in Frankfurt, to show us how well its new Monte Carlo trim suits it.
As you may recall, a few days ago Škoda announced that its compact model, the Scala, would receive the Monte Carlo trim, a version that pays tribute to the brand’s history in the various rally categories in which it has competed and, more specifically, to the Monte Carlo Rally, an event in which Škoda achieved several successes and which, like everything in the Principality, carries an aura of glamour. Now the Škoda Kamiq will also receive this trim, and it will be presented alongside the Scala at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo will stand out not only for its interesting standard equipment, but also for a trim that aims to bring out the more sporty and elegant side of this model. To that end, between its distinctive split headlights, which come standard with Full-LED technology, there is a front grille that drops chrome for its surround and is now painted black. The same black finish appears on the roof rails, the mirror housings, the side sills and certain areas of the front bumper, including its lower part.
Moving on to the sides, the wheels are the Monte Carlo model with a specific design and measure 17 inches, which can optionally be upgraded to 18 inches. At the rear, the Škoda lettering is also black, as are the rear diffuser and the decorative side trim on the rear window. To finish the exterior, this trim also comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, tinted rear windows in SunSet, and Full-LED rear lights, all adorned with a badge identifying the trim.

The interior also receives changes in the name of greater sportiness. Examples include the sports seats with integrated headrests, which feature upholstery combining black fabric with red fabric and white contrast stitching. Red also appears in the stitching of the leather multifunction steering wheel, on the gear lever and handbrake, and in the LED ambient lighting. The decorative panels and instrument panel also have specific trim, using chrome inserts, and the set is completed with aluminium pedals, specific floor mats and a black roof lining.
