The Skoda Scala goes into production and will reach the market shortly
In a few months we will have the first units of the Skoda Scala compact on the market, which has already started production at the Czech plant of the brand

After several months refining the design and features of the Skoda Scala, the compact model from the Czech brand has moved into production and will reach the market shortly. This model is built on the Volkswagen MQB-A0 group platform, so it will share many of the features and equipment enjoyed by the group’s compact models. It will be a current, modern car whose mission is to bridge the gap between the Skoda Fabia and the Skoda Octavia.
The idea of the Skoda engineers is to introduce safety features into the model that are normally designed for higher-range models. The Skoda Scala will feature Lane Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Traffic Alert Side Assist and adaptive cruise control, to enhance driving safety.

The LED headlights are available as an option, both at the front and rear, and the chassis will feature two driving modes, Normal and Sport. The new Skoda Scala, which replaces the Skoda Rapid Spaceback, will reach the European market in the second half of 2019 and will offer several engines so that prospective buyers can choose among the variants.

Finally, the diesel variant of the Skoda Scala will feature a 1.6-litre TDI engine, 115 CV of power and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. All engines use the Stop&Start system and are paired with either a five- or six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
