The Skoda Vision iV seduces us with its interior, giving us a preview of the future steps the Czech brand will take

Skoda is preparing everything to unveil the Vision iV in Geneva, a concept car that shows us its interior ahead of time to preview its innovations.

There was a time when prototypes were presented as vehicles that looked straight out of a science fiction film, previewing what seemed like unattainable technology and innovative yet revolutionary systems. However, today’s concept cars have changed, and we can see this with the Skoda Vision iV, a vehicle that offers important innovations but far more tangible and in line with the times. Once again, the Czech brand has treated us to this prototype, which now charms us with its minimalist, clean interior, which aims to give us a premise of the steps its future production models will take.

In this way, Skoda also hints that its upcoming range will include more SUV models, as we can see with the imminent arrival of the Kamiq and the presence of the Vision iV in Geneva. At the same time, we can see how the brand intends to follow a set of design guidelines that stay true to its line, but that seek to bring freshness and a sense of new blood.

This feeling also comes through when looking at the Vision iV’s interior space, a model that uses the latest design language Skoda is applying to its newest models, but taken to a higher level. This is how we can see the brand’s most cutting-edge technology coexisting in peace and harmony with a refined design without showy flourishes, one that aims to minimise as much as possible any intrusion from physical buttons.

At first glance, we find an imposing floating central screen, a feature that established brands are adopting in this wave of modernity. At the same time, the rest of the dashboard features a refinement and elegance typical of more streamlined cars, an effect also generated by the centre console.

The steering wheel, which takes a unique design on this concept car, has been conceived with two spokes that continue to convey that futuristic feel. The same goes for the seat, which features ergonomics designed to welcome its occupants with the greatest possible comfort. Last but not least, we should highlight the sloping rear window, which hints at the bodywork typical of SUV coupés.

It will be at this upcoming Geneva Motor Show that Skoda presents the Vision iV, a model set to preview important innovations already emerging in models such as the aforementioned Kamiq or the Scala. However, the Czech brand wants to keep moving forward and evolving, and this imminent concept car is irrefutable proof of that.
