The Skoda Yeti unveils its new lines

Some images have been shown online today anticipating the facelift the Skoda Yeti will receive. The new redesign, which will be shown soon at the Frankfurt Motor Show, will align with the new general design language introduced by Skoda, clearly influenced by the VisionD concept.
The new design features simpler and somewhat more conventional lines than the current model. The huge fog lights flanking the grille on the current model have disappeared, replaced by a front end that is almost similar to the one seen in the latest updates of the Octavia and Rapid. The strange front bumper of the current version is replaced by a more conventional bumper, with its fog lights located on the lower sides.

The rear has not received as many changes, but the bumper has been modified and will now be the same colour as the bodywork. The size of the window will now be larger and the rear lights will now be made up of LEDs. The interior does not appear to have undergone radical changes, only a newly designed steering wheel and the rumoured inclusion of an automatic parking system, about which Skoda has given not the slightest hint.
As for engines, the current Yeti engine line-up is expected to be offered in the new generation too, as well as DSG gearboxes, along with the all-wheel-drive variants with the Haldex clutch introduced some months ago in the Volkswagen Golf. Another new feature that has been discussed is the inclusion of the DSG gearbox for the front-wheel-drive 1.6 TDI.
