458 Italia Ferrari Curiosities Supercars
The story of the Ferrari that ended up split in two

Some stories have a happy ending. This one, unfortunately, is not one of them. The protagonist of our story is a true Ferrari 458 Italia, one of the fastest supercars ever built by the Cavallino marque.
We assume not all the people who unload cars from trucks are like this, but in any case, this story is sure to make many people think.
This event took place in Birmingham, Alabama. After acquiring a 458 Italia, its new owner was impatiently waiting for it to reach its destination so he could enjoy it, a moment that never came.
The employee of the company in charge of transporting the vehicle, accompanied by a work colleague, decided to take a spin in the Ferrari before delivering it to the dealership where it would be handed over.

The combination of recklessness, negligence and bad luck resulted in a tremendous crash at over 240 km/h, with the consequences seen in the photograph accompanying this article. The Ferrari, as a result of the impact, literally split into two pieces, leaving a heap of scrap metal, very expensive but completely unrecoverable.
Furthermore, no less important, the occupants of the vehicle were seriously injured, so much so that the driver is in a coma while the passenger is in critical condition as a result of their injuries.
Let us remember that the Ferrari 458 Italia is the fastest V8 model ever built by the Italian marque. It is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 570 CV. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. Its base price exceeds 230,000 euros.
