Outback Subaru Coches GLP/GNC SUV
The Subaru Outback becomes ECO with the addition of the LPG kit
From now on, the entire Subaru Outback range can be purchased with the LPG kit, which allows the petrol engine to run on gas as well.

The Subaru Outback has become a more sustainable vehicle thanks to the addition of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas kit, LPG, to its offering. This pack includes an additional tank to store this fuel and prepares the petrol engine so that it can also run on it. Moreover, this kit is available across the entire Outback range, so any car of this model can be fitted with it and obtain the ECO label.
When this LPG kit is installed, the model name becomes ECO Bi-Fuel. The compatible engine is the new-generation naturally aspirated 2.5-litre Boxer block. This engine delivers 169 CV. With both tanks full, petrol and LPG, the model achieves a range of just over 1,000 kilometres.

Lower consumption and lower emissions
Using LPG offers considerable advantages in terms of polluting emissions and consumption. The reduction in consumption amounts to 45% less than if petrol were the fuel used. The reduction in CO2 emissions and nitrogen dioxide particles is also considerable. This is key to making this fuel far more effective in urban driving, allowing the car to enter city centres with restrictions.
As for trim levels, the Subaru Outback is available in three versions. The Trek and Touring versions are oriented towards more urban driving, while the Field trim has a more adventurous spirit, geared towards leaving the city. This third trim offers an equipment level similar to that of the Trek trim.
The LPG kit can be installed for a price of 2,500 euros. In addition, the ValveCare lubrication system is included, which protects the valves and their seats, lubricates the cylinders and helps extend engine life. Another important point is that installing the LPG tank does not reduce the size of the boot, which stands at 522 litres.
