Subaru Concepts Family Geneva Motor Show
The Subaru Viziv Tourer Concept makes its mark at the Geneva Motor Show
The concept model was unveiled for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show and has drawn a great deal of attention thanks to its innovative design, a glimpse of the brand’s future

The Geneva Motor Show has been offering many intriguing surprises during these first days of the event. Subaru wanted to surprise us as well with this proposal designed with families in mind. We recall that the name Viziv refers to the term “Vision for Innovation“, so this concept aims to showcase everything that the technology and design of Subaru can offer for application in the models that will arrive in a few months.
As a result, the design of this model follows the line seen in previous concepts, which guarantees continuity across the entire range and previews the style the brand’s future cars will have. The grille and the wheel arch are very similar to the other models we have seen under this name, but this is nothing bad; it is simply something that sets the brand’s style and the proposal that lets us glimpse the path ahead.
Sporty styling for a vehicle designed for the family
Among the bodywork’s features, we should highlight the style adopted by the headlights, which have been reduced to minimal sizes compared with other models from the brand. This gives a dynamic, bold look that adds extra appeal to the car. The front splitter helps create that sporty look, rounded off by a large air intake on the bonnet, typical of the STi models. All of this, on a family car, makes it somewhat more attractive to those seeking power and sportiness in a vehicle that, at first glance, seems quite far from that concept.

From the side we see a line fairly close to a coupé, with a sloping roof and pronounced windows. At the rear we also find a sporty line, although perhaps this is where it takes on a more family-oriented appearance. The rear light clusters are C-shaped, with a large spoiler above the boot that accentuates the model’s sporty spirit. The engine used by this model is the unit found in other models, which uses the Symmetrical AWD all-wheel-drive system that is also quite common on Subaru cars.
If we turn to the technology section, we discover the Subaru All Around Safety system, which includes, for example, EyeSight, a driver fatigue alert system, rear-view cameras replacing the exterior mirrors, and a high-precision GPS navigator to reach your destination safely.
