Aceman MINI Electric Cars Urban
The technical specifications of the electric MINI Aceman come to light
Although its price in Europe is still unknown, the electric MINI Aceman should be the most affordable model from the British manufacturer with this powertrain
A recent publication from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has once again given us an early look at some details of a new electric model about to hit the market. In this case it is the MINI Aceman, which will be sold in this Asian market but which we will also see here in Europe.
MINI is one more manufacturer committed to selling only electric models from 2030 onwards, and that is why, before this decade is over, it plans to significantly expand its range of models that do without the combustion engine. The new electric MINI Aceman will be one of them.

The images you can see in this article are those taken by the MIIT for the homologation of the vehicle on the Chinese market. This authority has had access to two versions of the Aceman, the standard one and a higher-spec version called Aceman S. As can be seen, the two can be told apart at a glance, as they show some slight differences.
The MINI Aceman S stands out for integrating gold-pink finishing details on the exterior and also features a fairly generous “S” logo on the rear of the vehicle. At around 408 cm in length, the Aceman will also be one of the most compact models from the British manufacturer, now under the control of BMW.
In urban environments the MINI Aceman will move like a fish in water
As for its technical specifications, the Aceman will use a single electric motor on the front axle, which in the standard version will deliver around 135 kW, while in the Aceman S it will be around 160 kW. The exact capacity of the battery pack is not yet known, but it will be the same in both versions and should fall between 40 and 54.2 kWh. In this way, the range under the fairly generous Chinese CLTC homologation cycle could reach 400 km.

It should be remembered, however, that these specifications refer to the MINI Aceman that will be sold in China, so there may be some differences in the model that finally arrives in Europe. On the Chinese market, production of this new MINI model will be handled by Great Wall Motors, while the Aceman we will see in Europe will come from the British manufacturer’s plant in the United Kingdom.

Finally, it should be noted that while it is already confirmed that only these two electric versions of the Aceman will go on sale in China, it is not ruled out that MINI may also offer a combustion-engine version in other markets. Although this is something yet to be seen.
