The Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept dazzles in motion thanks to this video

Toyota wanted to make the wait for the production Supra more enjoyable, so they have made this video. In it we can see the concept car sliding from side to side.

Certain brands are characterized by having offered some of the most iconic sports cars of all time during their history, which enjoy strong appreciation today. Toyota was one of those companies responsible for creating one of the most iconic models, the Supra. This sports car has been hinted at with its return for quite some time, and it seems that it is now that the Japanese firm has decided to take a crucial step in reinterpreting this.

The presence of this vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show gave the world an idea of what the definitive Supra could look like, since Toyota decided to show a possible racing version from which the production model will be based, something that is generating considerable anticipation among all motoring enthusiasts and, of course, among fans of the model. However, the company has shown a video of the GR Supra in motion that helps pass the time while we wait, which is appreciated.

The Japanese sports car has been handled by an engineer to step fully into the virtual world and treat us to some very attractive footage of it driving -and sliding-. In the video we can see the same features we already saw in Geneva, but exaggerated by the high degree of racing preparation. However, thanks to this short film, we can get an idea of what the future Supra will look like on our streets.

Aesthetically we can distinguish many elements that bring the GR Supra to life, such as the front -with the large splitter removed- and the rear, with the spoiler being one of the few elements that would be eliminated in favor of a duck tail. At the same time, the dimensions of this Japanese sports car would also remain faithful to the one we saw on display, which is appreciated since we will have within reach a light and dynamic Supra.

For now we do not know details about the mechanics of this future Japanese sports car, but we know that the future BMW Z4 and the Supra will share several elements. This leads us to think that the Toyota sports car will be rear-wheel drive and its engines will be powered by a turbo, which will extract high performance, making fun and passion go hand in hand.

Without a doubt, many of us are eagerly awaiting the arrival of this model from the Japanese firm, since its last generation left a very important legacy and if Toyota is taking so long for the new Supra to see the light of day, it will be because the wait will be worth it. In the meantime, we can pass the time with this video of the GR Concept Car sliding.
