The Toyota Hilux 2021, fully redesigned, can now be reserved in Spain

We have heard quite a lot about the new Toyota Hilux, but now is when you can start reserving one. The first Toyota Hilux will arrive in Spain at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021, but the brand’s dealerships are already prepared to take the first orders and offer buyers the chance to reserve their car now.

The Toyota Hilux 2021 has been redesigned to welcome the year 2021 and is getting ready so that the model can be enjoyed. It has many improvements in the bodywork, equipment and interior, aimed at improving the style and driving experience of this model, which already reaches four decades.

Equipment improvements

The pick-ups are the fashionable vehicles, and the Toyota Hilux wants to stay present in the market with this new 2021 version, which includes a new front end that brings the design of the vehicle up to 2021 and maintains its strength and power visually. It also adds the option of LED lights in headlights and taillights, a new range of alloy wheels and the arrival of a new version called INVINCIBLE, with a new look that exudes more power and appeal.

New engine

The Toyota Hilux debuts a new engine, the 2.8 D block, which delivers 204 CV, 53 CV more than the 2.4 D engine of 150 CV fitted to the GX and GX Plus versions. The most powerful engine is reserved for the VX, VXL and INVINCIBLE trims, which are aimed at companies and professionals who need more power and strength for their day-to-day work. The gearbox for this powerful engine can be a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed Super ECT automatic gearbox.

Versions and prices

The Toyota Hilux arrives in Spain in five versions: GX, GX Plus, VX, VXL and INVINCIBLE, and also with three cab types. The buyer can choose between Single Cab, Extra Cab and Double Cab, depending on their needs. The VX, VXL and INVINCIBLE versions are aimed at professionals: the VX has lower protection, the VXL has double protection and the INVINCIBLE has full protection, which guarantees the safety and integrity of the vehicle.

The Toyota Hilux INVINCIBLE includes technological features designed to improve the professional’s day-to-day work, such as the keyless entry and start system (Smart Entry), LED headlights with automatic levelling and a new multimedia system with a touchscreen and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among others.
