The Toyota RAV4 receives a restyling ahead of 2018
The Toyota RAV4 is being renewed with a restyling that gives it a younger and more attractive look. The Japanese brand aims to keep up the success of the SUV.

The Toyota RAV4 has been enjoying quite remarkable success for years, and now the Japanese brand has decided to give it a facelift. This restyling gives the Japanese crossover a younger and more modern look, perfect for facing 2018.
The current generation of the RAV4 has been in production since spring 2016, and a year later we find some slight changes. The look the SUV takes on is fresher and more attractive, which will help it maintain a good number of sales in the coming years.
The RAV4 gets a new equipment pack called Pack Black, which seeks to give the new SUV a different look. This pack includes the mirror housings and lower protectors painted in black, along with 18″ wheels. However, this pack can only be fitted to the Feel! trim of the RAV4.

Toyota also wanted to renew the SUV’s engines when this latest generation launched in 2016. A hybrid powertrain was added to the engine range. This engine has played a strong role in the off-roader’s success, as 90% of RAV4 sales in Spain have been with this option. It is no surprise, since the hybrid engine offers a great balance between consumption and performance.
As for the other engines the RAV4 can be fitted with, there has been no change. The Asian SUV still keeps three engines: the hybrid powertrain we mentioned earlier, which delivers 197 CV, a diesel delivering 150 CV and a petrol with the same power as the diesel version.
It is worth noting that the RAV4 is also designed to tackle more challenging terrain, and the Japanese brand offers the option of fitting its new SUV with all-wheel drive. For those who will use it mainly on the road, the vehicle can also be chosen with front-wheel drive. This gives the RAV4 a high level of versatility and allows it to meet all the needs of its customers.

The Toyota RAV4 2018 keeps the same equipment levels. Toyota customers can choose from the following trims: Business, Advance, Feel! and Executive. The first trim is aimed at buyers who need a fleet of this vehicle. The remaining trim levels differ from one another in the standard equipment they offer.
As we told you at the beginning of the article, the Toyota RAV4 has been one of the best-selling SUVs on the market for several years. It achieves this position thanks to a very complete level of equipment and the versatility the off-roader offers. Toyota has also set a very competitive price for the RAV4, starting from 25,900 euros or 218 euros a month.
