The modular electric vehicle can be used both as a vehicle for providing healthcare services and for other purposes, depending on the module it is fitted with.

U1st Vehiculo Modular

Software Republic is a technology initiative that is designing connected electric vehicles with the participation of several companies. One of them is Renault, which brings all its experience in manufacturing functional electric vehicles to this consortium. To demonstrate all the capabilities of the union of all the participating companies, they have presented the U1st prototype.

This project is based on two modules. The first of them is an autonomous multi-service module, which is placed on a commercial electric vehicle platform called FlexEVan, the second element. This platform can be adapted to carry out various services. These include civic services, repair of bicycles and scooters, transport and recycling of electric devices.

Software Republique Smart City Expo

The prototype they have presented at Smart City Expo World Congress, which takes place from 5 to 7 November 2024 in Barcelona, is equipped with a pop-up module dedicated to healthcare services. This U1st dedicated to this service includes a system that monitors 21 health parameters and 12 technological innovations.

One of them is an artificial intelligence that controls an avatar. This Health Pop-Up brings healthcare services closer to places where there is no possibility of receiving this medical care. In this vehicle medical care can be received, with different systems to provide preventive care, diagnosis and monitoring of illnesses.

Thanks to the connectivity with which this vehicle has been equipped, all these services can be provided through smart devices, which at the same time provide privacy to patients, protecting their data. This module is managed by a medical assistant, but it can also be in contact with healthcare professionals to carry out remote consultations.

This prototype could be deployed in places where there is no medical care, it is completely safe and can be used for more than this service alone. The different modules that can be swapped so that it provides other services, with modules that can be supplied by Software République or by third-party companies.
