This Ford RS200 is Ken Block's new car

As a true motorsport enthusiast, you have surely heard of certain drivers with great prestige and reputation at some point. Their great feats behind the wheel have earned them a name and numerous titles worthy of admiration. But often our curiosity goes further, and we cannot help wondering about the vehicles that will be housed in the garages of professionals. Some are not very forthcoming when talking about their cars, but this is not the case with Ken Block, who has just shown us his latest acquisition.

Ken Block is not only known for his numerous titles and feats behind the wheel, but also for his ease and predilection for putting himself in front of a camera and sliding his cars. The rally driver has demonstrated on several occasions his mastery of drifting, making it look like child’s play to get the rear of your car out of line. But for this to work out well, Block has always relied on a good ally, and this time was no exception.

The American driver has just unveiled his new vehicle, an exclusive Ford RS200. This sports car from the eighties was conceived with the intention of putting a rally car on the street, and Ford it succeeded. It featured a fabulous all-wheel-drive system inherited from competition vehicles and a look typical of Group B vehicles.

Block already has an impressive track record of Ford vehicles, and some of the most iconic cars from the American brand have passed through his hands. The Focus RS and the sixties Mustang are some of the gems he has had in his garage. But all these vehicles share something in common, modifications under the bonnet.

The RS200 was not going to be an exception, and Ken Block has taken it up to 700 CV. Stock, the RS200 has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 250 CV, but for the rally driver that was not enough. Without a doubt, Ken is going to have to make a difficult decision every time he goes down to the garage, since he also owns several very desirable vehicles.

We should remember that only 200 units of the RS200 were produced, making it one of the most special vehicles in Ken Block’s collection. This new acquisition will be his main weapon for drifting and he will surely have a great time with one of the most iconic Ford in history.
