Fisker Ocean Electric Cars SUV
This is how a Fisker Ocean is built: this video shows it step by step
The company has released a time-lapse video showing how one of these cars is manufactured on the assembly line at Graz, in Austria.

We don’t often see how the cars we love so much are built. Occasionally we see an image or a photograph showing the assembly line and some of the processes that make up the assembly. Rarely do we get the chance to watch how one of these assembly lines works.
In this case, it is the Fisker Ocean assembly line, located at the company’s plant in Graz, Austria. In the video we will see how a unit of this model takes shape. It is not a video as such, but a time-lapse that captures images every few seconds and shows how the car is put together.

The video begins with an image of a robotic line, which starts assembling the main body structure. Then operators step in and begin installing other body elements, such as the doors. Next come the preparations for painting the body. This process is carried out by a fully robotic line, so there is no operator involvement in that part of the assembly.
Assembly then continues and the operators reappear, working on the installation of the interior components. Although it is a complex process, the video shows how each part falls into place and nothing is out of order.
Fisker aims to have 300 units of the Fisker Ocean roll off the assembly line during the first quarter of 2023. During the second quarter the target is 8,000 units, and by the end of the third quarter, 15,000 vehicles. The total number of Fisker Oceans built in 2023 is expected to reach 42,200 units.
According to the company, more than 58,000 orders for the model have been received, so its intention is to reduce the existing backlog as soon as possible. There are several versions of the model, so they are not all the same. The Fisker Ocean has been marketed in up to four versions, with different motors and battery configurations, so buyers can choose the one that best suits their tastes and preferences.
