This is how Bosch presents autonomous driving

What should be a full technological revolution, in which the brightest minds in the automotive sector, with the most advanced radars and sensors, are putting all their talent to the test, end consumers remain wary of the possibility of handing over control of the journey, the power of decision and entrusting our own safety to a car and its computer brain.

We have already seen demonstrations of how the autonomous car works, as Audi showed a few months ago at the CES in Las Vegas, or companies and organisations such as Google and NASA, which are working on its development, but what if they now show it to us in a video? (with the help of computer-generated images, of course). This has been Bosch’s work in its latest video, in which they try to show in a different way what the use of the autonomous car would be like.

Throughout the video we accompany a young owner of a Tesla Model S on a journey to the airport. The reason for choosing the powerful electric saloon from Silicon Valley lies in its large touchscreen display integrated into the centre console and in the possibilities this will offer for the autonomous car.

For this reason, Bosch has designed a user interface that is extremely easy to use, very intuitive and that would allow the journey to be enjoyed without complications, because the most important thing in an autonomous car should be comfort, shouldn’t it?
