This is how the cars from the latest Bond film are used: 'No Time to Die'
In the latest Bond film, ‘No Time to Die’, the producers decided to use several British cars, from both the past and the present of the super-agent

Movie fans eagerly await each new instalment of the James Bond saga. Not only for the action on screen, but also for the presence of several cars that we see doing things just as impressive as the actors. In this latest film, titled No Time to Die in English and Sin tiempo para morir in Spanish, we find two iconic models of British origin that have traditionally appeared throughout the film series.
Aston Martin DB5
The first of them is the legendary Aston Martin DB5. It is perhaps the car most associated with the figure of James Bond, and it has a long tradition with the character. It first appeared in one of the early instalments of the saga, Goldfinger, and since then it has made sporadic appearances in several films. But this time, it returns with all its weaponry and shows why it went down in history as the definitive Bond car.

In the film where the car first debuted, Bond had at his disposal a wide array of gadgets to face his enemies. An oil dropper that created a smokescreen, efficient bulletproof armour and even machine guns. For this new film, five of these cars have been used, properly adapted to fulfil the same function.
However, these are not original models but replicas. They were built to be fully equipped in the Bond style. All these weapons have been added, but also something more. Each of the replicas was used for a specific moment in the film, so they differ from one another.
The ones used in the driving scenes with the most action feature a roll cage and a hydraulic handbrake. One protects the driver from injury and the other helps them perform those surprising turns that look so good on camera. Several specialist drivers were at the wheel of these replicas, so they managed to achieve striking action sequences.

That said, filming these scenes with cars is anything but easy. That is why a chase scene lasting just a few minutes required seven weeks of shooting until it turned out perfect.
Range Rover Sport SVR
The two Range Rover Sport SVR used in No Time to Die were employed for a chase scene. Both units had their bodywork painted in Eiger Grey with 22-inch Narvik Black alloy wheels. The look is further enhanced by the optional Carbon Park pack.
Although they take quite a beating during the chase, both cars are identical to those offered at dealerships, so there is no difference between them and the ones available to buy on the market. The video shows the filming process of this scene, in which Daniel Craig drives a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
There are other cars in the film, of course, but these are the ones that mark two of the most iconic scenes in the movie. Will you be going to see it on the big screen?
