This is how the Renault Megane RS 2018 sounds in a teaser video through the Monaco tunnel
The video previews the presentation of the sporty compact at the Monaco GP. The Renault Megane RS will be driven by Nico Hulkenberg in an exhibition.

On Wednesday, Renault Sport announced that it will unveil the new Megane RS this weekend at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. Just one day later, here we have the first teaser video of the French performance car, and it is truly fascinating.
During the sequence, we can see each of the predecessors of the new Megane RS in a sort of apocalyptic city. At the end of the video, the 2018 Megane RS enters the scene and heads for the famous Monaco GP tunnel, where it gives us a small preview of what its sound will be when it is presented by Nico Hulkenberg this weekend.

The Megane RS’s four wheels could be steered to improve cornering agility. We still don’t know many details about the technical specifications of the highly anticipated French model, but considering that most of its rivals – Honda Civic Type R, Ford Focus RS or Volkswagen Golf R – offer more than 300 CV of power, it is to be expected that the French sporty compact will have a similar figure.
Although there is no official confirmation, it is very likely that the new Megane RS will use a four-wheel drive system for the first time; its predecessors had always been front-wheel drive. In addition, its four wheels could be steered to improve its cornering.
For the most enthusiastic drivers, a six-speed manual gearbox will continue to be offered on the new Megane RS, while a dual-clutch automatic transmission can also be purchased as an option.
