This Lotus Evora Sport 410 pays tribute to a James Bond film

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of The Spy Who Loved Me, one of the films starring the most British spy in the history of literature and cinema, James Bond. In that film a Lotus Esprit S1 appeared, one of the vehicles that have gone down in the history of the superspy saga of MI6. Now, to commemorate this very special date, the British manufacturer has wanted to pay tribute to that model by basing it on a Lotus Evora Sport 410 suitably customised to recall that legendary model.

If you are one of the fans of the saga and want to own this spectacular sports car, you will have to hurry, because it is a unique model and there will be only one unit of it. Nothing else will be available for purchase apart from this unit, whose price has not been revealed, but it is expected to be somewhat higher than the 84,000 pounds that the model it is based on costs on the English market.

The tribute to that classic model is given by the colour scheme and the interior, in which they have tried to recreate on today’s car what we could see in that vehicle. One of the elements they have introduced is a rear bumper with the chosen body colour code integrated into the rear, which has been manufactured in a single piece of carbon fibre. On the B-pillar the name of the model can be read, Evora, but using the typeface that was used for the Sprit S1.

For Lotus, the Sprit S1 is one of the most relevant in its history, so they have taken great care to give the Evora Sport 410 that look. A tribute that recovers the appearance of the first model, but with the performance of the current one, light years away. The car has a V6 engine, which delivers a power of 416 CV and which launches the car from standstill to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, allowing it to reach a top speed of 305 km/h.
