This summer, let yourself be carried away by the new Opel Zafira Crosscamp Life
The Opel Zafira Crosscamp Life could not have arrived at a better time. The year looks more encouraging than ever for the caravan and campervan conversion sector.
The Covid-19 pandemic crisis has made people extremely wary of renting holiday apartments or staying in hotels, and caravans or converted vehicles for travelling and living in them during a holiday look set for a hopeful year.
The Opel Zafira Life has been taken in hand by German high-volume vehicle conversion specialists. Crosscamp has taken the base of this van and turned it into a motorhome which, besides being offered with diesel engines, comes in a total of up to 8 different drivetrain configurations
So much so that, among the different configurations, there is the possibility of a ground clearance increased by 25 centimetres, which allows access to areas with broken or unstable surfaces.
Thanks to the Opel IntelliGrip control, optimum traction is guaranteed in all kinds of conditions, which enhances the ‘adventurous’ capabilities of this van.
With its length of 4.95 metres and height of 1.99 metres, the converted Opel Zafira Life offers space for up to 4 occupants to sleep overnight. It also comes as standard with a permanent bed, built-in cupboards and a simple kitchen.
The starting price of the cheapest Opel Zafira Crosscamp Life, with white bodywork, the 120 CV 1.5 diesel engine, Start/Stop, a 6-speed manual gearbox and 17-inch wheels with 225/55 tyres, starts at 42,174 euros, according to the converter’s configurator.
