Riding in a taxi is usually quite pleasant and spares us from having to suffer driving through the city. So much so that for a short period of time the relaxing drinks company Chill Out, whose products are the opposite of energy drinks, has set up a Toyota JPN taxi to turn it into a vehicle designed to enjoy a good nap. The Toyota JPN is a taxi manufactured in Japan to fulfil public transport service and is designed to function as a taxi.

A hybrid vehicle designed as a taxi

The Toyota JPN began circulating in Japan in 2017 and has become one of the most popular taxi models. It not only offers a spacious interior, designed to provide comfort and ease to users, but also features a hybrid engine. This is a 1.5-litre LPG engine and it performs its role in several Japanese cities.

This model has been chosen to become a sleeping car, that is, a taxi in which to ride to rest for a while. Work has been done to turn the interior space into a place to rest and take a short nap. A table with relaxing drinks from the sponsoring brand has been installed, but that is not all that is offered.

The windows are covered by plants, which contributes to a more comfortable interior atmosphere. The interior space is enough for passengers to find a suitable position to rest, so it is easy to relax and rest. The service includes a car pillow and an eye mask to cover your eyes and rest.

Whatever the journey, the user of this taxi will be able to rest, even if only for about ten minutes, in the most pleasant way. It is a one-off promotional campaign, which lasted five days. But knowing how the Japanese take customer service, it would not be surprising if they surprised us with one or several units of this type of taxi adapted for this use.
