Toyota and Mazda sign an agreement to collaborate on launching new models

Business alliances are usually very beneficial for developing new models and having them ready for different markets, where the union of two brands tends to produce very positive results. The latest two to join forces are Mazda and Toyota, which have signed a collaboration agreement to create new models and are preparing innovative projects from which both brands will benefit.
The first step both companies will take is the creation of a joint committee that will begin working to identify the strengths of each and draw up an action plan that will serve to develop a marketing plan. In principle, the hybrid technology of Toyota is expected to be incorporated into the models of Mazda.
Mazda, for its part, allows Toyota to carry out the manufacture of compact models at the plant the brand has in Mexico. These first two agreements may serve to establish the foundations on which future agreements sought through this alliance will be based.

This agreement has been signed with the idea of bringing together the philosophies of both companies, which, according to what is said in each of their head offices, have a lot in common. These two philosophies complement each other, so the aim is to create a line of cars that will feature the safety equipment developed by Toyota and the design line of Mazda, allowing the brand’s users to enjoy these cars.
Through the work of both companies collaborating together, the intention is to create a partnership that goes beyond what is traditional and normal. Although the two companies will not merge, they will be united by this agreement in order to move forward in the market together.
