Toyota and Suzuki join forces to tackle the technological challenge
Two of the most important brands in the Japanese automotive industry will join forces to advance more quickly and effectively in the world of car technology, carrying out research both individually and also jointly.

The 21st century has arrived with great force, and for 16 years technological novelties have been a constant. Major advances in the automotive field have led buyers to be increasingly clear that they do not want to give up the connectivity that their mobile devices provide, among other things. Information received over the internet, GPS, entertainment systems and, above all, all those driver-assistance systems are there, and we all want to have the latest in our cars.
With this collaboration, the two manufacturers will be able to develop new technologies and improve existing ones. But, to make sure all these things are present in the vehicles we are looking for, a series of investments must be made, which in some cases may prove excessive for companies. That is why strategic alliances are occasionally formed to avoid being left behind in the whirlwind that carries us forward. This is evidently what two giants of the Japanese industry, Suzuki and Toyota, must have thought, as they have just done precisely that: signed a collaboration agreement to advance the development of technology to improve their models.
Collaboration between companies to improve
Each of the two companies is working individually on its own developments, but there is a point of connection at which both will update each other on their progress. The idea is that one helps the other get ahead, so that technological results are achieved much more quickly and effectively.
The two CEOs agree on this collaboration agreement, and both consider that it is great news for the automotive industry. Together, the two companies will be able to take on a series of research and projects that will make practical progress possible. The union of these two automotive giants will not mean the emergence of a new brand, nor even a more effective merger, but it will result in greater collaboration between brands. I don’t think this will be the only one signed in these times of change and technological advances that show us more things every day.
