Toyota Aygo Crazy Concept, great performance for a compact

Toyota will present its high-performance compact concept at the London Motor Show, Aygo Crazy, fully designed to test the driver’s skills.
For that reason, it has no electronic aids of any kind, such as ABS or power steering, and it looks more like a go-kart with doors and a roof.
The car’s 1.8L VVT-i engine comes from the Celica and MR2 sports cars but has been adapted to the rear of this car to provide an RWD system.
The engine has also been upgraded with the Toyota Motor Sport kit, which has increased the compact’s power to 200 CV, and it is fully put to use thanks to its 1,050 kg weight, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 205 km/h.
To cope with the new performance, a new cooling system has been fitted to the body of the car, its main air intake located in the front grille, along with a new suspension system with adjustable dampers.
The exterior design has also received special emphasis to match its performance, including a sporty rear spoiler, 17-inch wheels and some custom shapes inspired by the American Champ Car racers.
We sincerely hope this compact gains the popularity it needs during its presentation to encourage the Japanese company to consider putting it into production.
