Toyota Custom, the new range of options for the Toyota Hilux

If you own a Toyota Hilux and want to enhance its exterior appearance and also expand its equipment, you can now customise it even further. Toyota launches a new range of Toyota Custom options offering a comprehensive selection with numerous references that allow any version of the pick-up to be personalised and configured to your needs.

For protection, you can fit a protector for the lower area of the front bumper, aluminium side steps with a non-slip surface to make it easier to access the cabin (available for the Hilux Double Cab and Hilux Extra Cab) and stainless steel roll bars (available for the Hilux Double Cab VX and Hilux Double Cab VX VXL).

The load area, which is the most likely to suffer damage as it is used to transport objects of various sizes, especially if the vehicle is used as a working tool on a daily basis, has a plastic or aluminium protector and a front storage box, located next to the rear window, water-resistant, with a lock and a capacity of 195 litres and 100 kilograms, as well as various types of covers.

With regard to the types of covers, you can choose a durable vinyl soft cover, a rigid ABS plastic cover unpainted or painted in the same colour as the bodywork, with full opening and lock, or an aluminium cover, rigid or roll-up. In the latter case, it can be complemented with roll bars.

In addition, the Toyota Hilux can be fitted with two types of hardtop, one without side windows, in solid white, with tinted rear window, removable front window and LED light, and another with windows, painted in the same colour as the bodywork, in double-layer ABS plastic, with the entire glazed surface tinted, a hinged and lockable rear window, removable front window and LED light.

Other equipment available in the Genuine Accessories catalogue Toyota includes the Toyota Touch 2 & GO navigation system, the latest version of the Toyota Touch 2 & GO with MM16 operating system and advanced functions, front and rear parking sensors, anti-theft alarm and leather upholstery (there are three upholstery variants depending on the version: Hilux Extra Cab, Hilux Double Cab GX and Hilux Double Cab VX with perforated leather).
