Toyota GR Supra GT4: a track monster that isn't too expensive
The new Toyota GR Supra GT4 will go on sale in March 2020. In North America and Asia it will arrive in October of this same year.
The Toyota GR Supra GT4 is closely related to the road model. It features the same 3.0-liter 6-cylinder inline twin-turbo engine. The difference is that in this extreme version, this engine produces 430 CV of power. It also has an Akrapovic exhaust system that makes it sound like angels.

This track version features a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The road version has 8 speeds and a different motorsport-spec differential.
This little toy’s weight stands at 1,350 kg, making it considerably lighter than its road-going sibling. As for its design, it doesn’t change much except for some distinctive splitters.
The brakes on this track version have also been optimized for maximum performance. It features Brembo brakes, with six-piston calipers on the front wheels and four-piston calipers on the rear.

Its 18-inch OZ wheels are fitted with Pirelli tires from the highest sporting range available.
The Supra GT4 also comes with a roll cage and racing seats, both mandatory to pass the FIA-spec tests.
The dashboard is filled with carbon fiber, where we’ll also find a display accompanied by a racing steering wheel specifically designed for this model.

Teams interested in acquiring the car will need to contact the regional sales centers. For private buyers, the best option will be to contact Toyota Motorsport in Europe.
This new Toyota Supra GT4 is expected to have an approximate price of 175,000 euros. A price that is not outlandish and, in our view, justified, especially considering that it is an extreme competition car.
