Toyota Hilux Invincible, the 50th anniversary commemorative version is already on sale in Spain

In January we anticipated the launch of the Toyota Hilux Invincible, the 50th anniversary commemorative version of the pick-up, which is now going on sale

From 38,270 euros, the new and unprecedented Invincible special series can now be purchased at the official Toyota dealer network in Spain, with which Toyota wants to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its “striking” pick-up, the new Toyota Hilux.

With a robust, muscular and very bold design, the new Hilux has been featuring since early June the new Invincible special series, which is considered the most irreverent version of the range. Toyota has equipped the Hilux Invincible with features shared with the rest of its models in all the markets where it will be available.

Compared with the other variants of the current Hilux range, the Invincible special series adds a number of black-finished elements that enhance its exterior look. It thus features 18-inch alloy wheels exclusive to this version, with a six double-spoke design finished in black. The same colour is also used for the roll bars, side steps, front guard with integrated trim and plastic wheel arch protectors. The special series is also recognisable by its aluminium door sill plates with the Hilux logo engraved on them.

To get going, the Hilux Invincible uses the 2.4 D4-D 110 kW (150 hp) engine coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox (38,270 euros), although it is also available with the efficient six-speed Super ECT automatic transmission (40,270 euros).

The standard equipment of both versions of the special series has been particularly carefully considered. Toyota offers a wide range of features including automatic air conditioning, leather steering wheel, a 7″ Touch2 Toyota multimedia system with touchscreen, a parking assistance system with rear-view display and front and rear parking sensors, as well as Toyota Safety Sense, the set of safety and driver assistance systems that the Japanese manufacturer considers essential for vehicle safety and which this variant of its pick-up incorporates, among others, the pre-collision safety system, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition.

Over its fifty years of continuous presence in the markets, the Hilux has accumulated more than 18 million units sold worldwide, repeatedly demonstrating in its successive generations the main qualities that have made it one of the great references in its segment: durability, reliability, robustness and quality.
