Two new electric cars will bring Fiat to life in 2023
The Italian brand wants to launch four new models by 2027, although this year 2023 it will already launch the first two of them, a successor to the Tipo and an SUV.

The results of the Fiat 500 electric have been nothing but good. It has become a car that has captivated urban drivers across Europe, so the brand’s next move will be to create two new electric models. These cars will reach the market during the second half of 2023, so we will have the chance to get to know them very soon.
According to company sources, the two new models that will reinforce the electric range will be a small city car and a compact SUV. They will be the first electric models to arrive, but not the last. By 2027, four electric vehicles are expected to strengthen the range.

What we expect from Fiat
The name and shape of these two new electric models are already being discussed. The first of them could be the long-awaited return of the Fiat Punto. A small electric car that would revive the name of one of the brand’s best-selling cars. It would be a model that would sit somewhat above the Fiat 500e.
In principle, this car would use the same platform as the Peugeot e-208 and the Opel Corsa-e. Furthermore, it is possible that not only an electric version will arrive, but it could also offer electrified combustion engines.
As for the second model, it will in all likelihood be the Fiat 600. This will be a compact SUV in the B segment, so it will be related to the Jeep Avenger and the Peugeot 2008. This second model will be built at the Tychy plant in Poland. As with the Fiat Polo, although the electric vehicle is the brand’s main focus, it is expected to also be available with a combustion engine with some degree of electrification.
In addition, the Fiat 500X is expected to evolve and, in future iterations, be positioned above the Fiat 600, with greater size and performance.
